Walls

EDIT from MaNGusT: original model and texture was made by yahodahan

Okay - it's time to decide which wall model we'll use. For that purpose, I'm creating a respectable poll so that everyone can give their opinions and we can reach common sense.

Of course that, if the WZ forum's people prefer one or another, we'll have to re-discuss that.
After we've got 4 votes, I ask for the chosen model's author to post a good pic of it here (for walls, there's no need of more than 1).

Thanks.

P.S.: I'll be updating the WZ forum AR topic today - please update your assets here (no matter what stage they are).

you could better map the models that I sent you. :-) - people don't want to see a nice pictures, people want to play with a new graphic. imho.

about walls... we have the 4 factions in campaign, each faction has individual wall model, so we can use both models(and mb more models) AND also we can use a special low poly model for multiplayer.

P.S. my walls http://forums.wz2100.net/viewtopic.php? ... 300#p55833

P.S. Sorry for my English.

Very interesting idea... Would love to see it in-game...

Wel if we do use both models ingame, they must look distinctly different from each other IMHO. Also i'm not sure about the current status of mangust's wall, but AFAIK it's ends still need to be adjusted to "tessellate" better.

Macuser, you wall model has those "protuberations" as extrusions from the larger mesh's polygons, or as a intersecting box? That last reduces a great deal of polygons.

As an intersecting box - I totally redid the models from scratch when jorzi recommended that I do so :)
