High poly model

low poly model has 252 faces(left+right side) and also I've deleted all polys that aren't visible from "player" view. :)

Beautiful :)
Much better like that

EDIT: by the way, what models are there still left to do? I think we have all the turrets from first campaign at least?

Did you ever did a test bake? I'm feeling a little confused about the very very small details and how they will be visible on a very small normal map like 256x256 or 512x512.

Anyway, I like it. But you should stick maybe more to the design like here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=13&start=12

nope, but I'm planing it. :) about small details, yeah, they will not be visible even at max zoom, I've added them only for an aesthetic effect.

Low poly model. 164 tris (328 for both sides). can do 154 by removing the pipe. I don't know how I calculated faces before :? but now it is the real number of tris. also have found some mistakes in NM texture and found the better way to make AO maps. so, rebaked it all again. :)

about the wheels.. when I baked AO map I hided all other objects because in future, I hope, they will rotate while moving. so you can see that shadows look wrong. I will make right shadows for them manually in photoshop. :)

High poly model is almost finished.

Jorzi, can you give me your wheel models(high poly) from medium wheels, since I have some problems when do this type of models. :| also I like your wheels very much and I think wheel models in the game should be similar. :)

I'll send them to you as soon as I have the time (unfortunately my internet access is temporarily a bit limited)...
I do like your current model though :) Just a reminder: nobody will see the inside of your wheels :P
